About 90% of Wilding Pines in the area are Corsican Pine; one of the most problematic wilding pine confers. Douglas Fir is also present and has a risk of invading Black Beech Forest. The farmers have been working to systematically clear areas threatening productive land for decades; the battle is made much harder by accessibility of some areas.
